I joined a Deviantart group called Toy Samuraiz a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, once I joined they stopped posting challenges. :c I need to brush up on my drawing skills but lacking ideas on what to draw. So I am going to do all the old/past challenges posted. I had planed to do each challenge in order, but I couldn’t wait to do this one. :}
Toy Samuraiz - Challenge #5 - Candyland
Rules:
Pick a character, Post a comment on blog saying which character you choose, No one else can pick/draw this character but you.
Draw your own vision of your character
Use ‘happy’ colors
Queen Frosty, Princess Lolly, Lord Licorice, Mr. Mint: Taken King Candy, Jolly, Grandma Nut, Gloppy, Plumpy: Available
If I had a choice, I would of picked Lord Licorice. But since that wasn’t an option, out of the characters available, I’m picking Jolly.

I wanted to keep Jolly gender-neutral but as I kept working on it Jolly became more masculine to me. Thus the masculine arms and broad shoulders. When I showed this to a friend she saw some feminine features. :/ This is not my final drawing of Jolly anyway. This was mostly drawn for character design and personality. I want to make a more dynamic pose for my final piece.
